My work explores the space between abstraction and representation, using painting to interpret lived experience through color, gesture, and form. Rooted in observationβlandscape, interiors, still life, and the figureβmy compositions are transformed through an intuitive, process-driven approach.
Iβm drawn to the tension between structure and spontaneity. Through layered paint, gestural mark-making, and shifting perspectives, I create images that feel both grounded and in flux. Familiar subjects become a starting point for exploring perception, memory, and the instability of place.
Rather than offering a fixed narrative, my paintings invite open interpretation. The distortion of space and interplay of color reflect a world that is fragmented, dynamic, and deeply personalβleaving room for viewers to find their own connections.
