I am constantly inspired by the landscapes that surround me, both in my home city of Washington, DC and in the places I discovers while traveling. The colors, light, and energy of each environment make their way into my work, whether through the geometry of urban rooftops or the wild openness of a sweeping vista. Both travel and everyday moments fuel my creative spark, which I translate into bold, expressive paintings. My work seeks to capture a sense of place, real or remembered, and to invite viewers to feel that place for themselves.
