Fichi Colorati (Colorful Figs) is an expressive work on paper inspired by the abundance of color, texture, and everyday beauty encountered during time spent in Barga, Italy. A series of fig-like forms emerges from a loosely gridded field of muted gray, olive green, and warm earth tones. Vivid pinks, reds, and deep greens bring each shape to life, while gestural marks and layered brushwork preserve the spontaneity of the painting process.
Balancing playful pattern with an intuitive, painterly approach, the work transforms a familiar subject into an exploration of color, shape, and rhythm. Part still life, part abstract composition, Colorful Figs captures the joy of looking closely at the ordinary and discovering something unexpected.
Paintings shown in AI generalted setting and frame for visualization purposes. Shipped flat in a plastic sleeve.
